From story text to a scene an artist can understand.
BuildToon is designed around pre-production: make the beats explicit, keep dialogue controllable, preserve the cast and create a portable reference before final art begins.
What happens inside BuildToon
The result is a structured visual direction document with images, text and continuity in one place.
1. Structure the scene
The planner identifies the character goal, conflict, setting, turn and final beat before images are rendered.
2. Preserve the cast
Character descriptions, expressions, outfits and continuity notes are carried into the visual direction for the scene.
3. Render visual references
The scene becomes numbered vertical shots with camera, action, emotion, props and readable pacing.
4. Keep text editable
Dialogue is stored separately from the artwork so a writer can rewrite bubbles without losing the visual direction.
5. Package the handoff
A Creator Pack can include clean references, exact dialogue, continuity notes, PDF and organized ZIP exports.
6. Review before final art
The output is a planning reference. Writers and artists still decide what becomes final published artwork.
Try one scene, then decide what deserves more work
Start with a focused hook or scene and inspect the pacing before building a longer episode.
