Who operates this service
BuildToon is operated by Shcoder Development, which is also the business behind the payments you make here. These terms are an agreement between you and Shcoder Development. Reach us at hello@buildtoon.com for anything regarding your account, an order, or these terms.
Available payment methods and the payment provider are shown before you complete checkout. Your receipt identifies the provider and transaction reference for that purchase.
AI-generated content
Outputs generated by AI models may be imperfect, inconsistent, or require editing. You are responsible for reviewing generated content before publishing, sharing, or exporting it.
AI outputs are generated by machine learning models and may not be unique — similar or identical outputs may be produced for other users. Generated content does not grant exclusive rights to the specific output, though you retain ownership of your original prompts.
Ownership and license
You retain ownership of the prompts and story ideas you submit. Generated episodes and exports are provided for your use. This service does not claim copyright ownership over your generated content. By publishing to the public gallery, you grant BuildToon a non-exclusive license to display your episode on the website.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use this service. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have a parent or guardian's consent. By using the service, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
User responsibility
You are responsible for all prompts and content you submit. Do not upload or generate material that:
- Infringes on third-party intellectual property rights (including copyrighted characters, artwork, or trademarks)
- Impersonates real people without consent
- Contains illegal, abusive, or harmful content
- Violates the terms of any platform you intend to publish on
Public gallery
By publishing an episode to the public gallery, you grant BuildToon permission to display it on the website. You can unpublish or request removal at any time. Public content remains publicly accessible until removed.
Exports and third-party platforms
BuildToon prepares export files formatted for WEBTOON Canvas, Tapas, TikTok, and other platforms. We do not guarantee acceptance or approval by those platforms. You are responsible for following each platform's content policies and submission guidelines.
Credits and payments
- Credits are consumed when generation, exports, or paid actions are executed
- Confirmed payments are credited by verified webhook events only
- Credits purchased in packs do not expire
- Monthly subscription credits refill on each billing cycle
- Unused subscription credits do not roll over to the next month
- Subscriptions can be cancelled before the next renewal date
- Access to generated content may be limited if the account is suspended or deleted
Refunds and cancellation
Refunds, cancellation, and credit restoration are governed by our Refund Policy. In short: unused credits are refundable within 14 days, subscriptions can be cancelled at any time before the next billing date, and credits spent on a failed generation are restored to your balance. Account suspension
BuildToon may suspend or terminate accounts involved in abuse, fraud, attacks against platform reliability, violation of these terms, or unauthorized use of third-party intellectual property.
Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” without warranty of uninterrupted availability. BuildToon is not responsible for losses resulting from service interruptions, generation failures, or platform policy changes by third-party services.
